rows upon rows

I have all the blocks for almost amish from Jos country junction here. in rows.

And I have started to assemble the top. It is slow going for me, as I am angularly challenged. There is a graph in the book I am following. I can get the angle wrong while looking right at it. All I have to do is look at the pieces and they thread. I will need to spend a lot of time with a lint brush.

  1. "Angularly challenged?" Oh, I think our brains just rebel somedays and decide to mess with us! I'll bet you develop a system that works for you and reduces the oopsies as you continue working on this one. Is that a deep chocolate brown background fabric you're using? This quilt looks so yummy -- it reminds me of M&Ms!

  2. This is going to be a very fun quilt. Are you using Kona solids? I think Kona sheds threads worse than some other solids. Hope you can find a good way to keep the blocks oriented correctly, happy stitching!
