spider web quilt is finished

I restarted this older ufo as part of the rainbow scrap challengeHere is my first post about this quilt in 2016. I am fascinated by the spiderweb block, and full disclosure, I have several started and not finished. I was near the finish during the color orange month, and, wanted to continue to a finish. I sewed all the blocks and rows on my antique singer treadle. I finished the assembly, borders, quilted, and binding with electric machines. I am a big fan of orange. I think the orange and black is striking. I found the perfect border fabric hiding in my stash. I guess it pays to keep everything.

74 x 86 =24 yards

  1. Wonderful spider web finish and the perfect border. Wish we really could keep everything but glad you had the great border fabric. Maybe I will be inspired to finish my spider web UFO.
