I found a wide backing at a garage sale that was a great price. I am not a fan of black backings, but, sometimes, I want a darker background. This will do the trick.

I sewed 4 days last week.
I have created a new friendship swap for my rug hooking group. It is a swap rug. Everyone wanted houses this time. It has two rows of houses, and trees, too. We each do a house on our own rug, and then, we pass it around for everyone to hook a house on our rug, When we are done, we will have a rug with our friends hooking on it. I have made 2 or 3 others and they are such a treasure. We have a goal to trade every two weeks.
Here is one rug that was up for swapping this week. Pam has decided to make a wool shop house for all of us. last week
