This is an older ufo that has been in my to be quilted closet. It is my first priority for the 5 quilt project in 2024. I need to see to borders, and quilt, and bind it. It was part of a block of the month at a local quilt shop in 2012. I had most of the blocks made, then. I finished the top in 2021, and it has been waiting in the closet for it's turn on the longarm. I used amy butler fabric.
It's amazing to see how many unique blocks can be made with just Drunkard Path blocks.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie! How exciting to be working on a UFO from 2012! I think it has been patient long enough. Do you still have the fabric available for a border that you used for the sashing or are you using something else? It won't be long and this will be in the finished pile. Happy New Year to you. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteSometimes those older UFOs provide a big spurt of inspiration -- hope you'll be able to get this one done and dusted.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your 5 quilt project this year. You've picked a pretty one to start with, love the teals in that one.
ReplyDeleteWith just borders to go, this top should be finished soon! Love the colors. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
