The top is together for my glitter quilt. This is a Jen Kingwell pattern from Quilt Lovely book. I began in 2017 using templates. I finished the blocks in 2018. I pulled the ufo out again in 2024 to try finishing the top as part of the 5 quilts project. The original pattern does not have a border, but, I am undecided.

Wow on your Glitter quilt! Did you hand pic or machine piece it? Looks easy enough to add borders, if you go that way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt. I think it looks cool and modern, so personally I wouldn't add a border. Great job! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2024/03/27/wednesday-wait-loss-373
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic. I love scrap quilts that use a bunch of different fabrics. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose are interesting blocks! Looking foward to seeing what you decide about a border.
ReplyDeleteI've watched you make this one; turned out pretty neat! I do like it without a border.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting this one to a finished quilt top. I prefer a border, but it certainly looks fine without one.
ReplyDeleteYour Glitter quilt is gorgeous! I have Jen's book and started this one too...just a few blocks made with EPP. Really enjoyed it and now finishing other projects but will get back to it. I agree that it could stand on its own without a border, depends on how big you might want it. Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeletei love this pattern! lovely work.
