Scrap sorting

I made these cute little gifts for my visiting teaching this month. I found the idea here.
These are tomatoes from our garden. They are huge and perfect for bacon, tomato, and lettuce sandwiches. Something I look forward to every summer.
We canned tomatoes. They have been odd this year, with a bigger green stem area inside, and webbing through the whole tomato. The heirloom tomatoes look odd in the jars.

We froze corn.

I am often surprised at what some quilters call scraps. There were some big pieces of neutrals in this little bag.
I had fun sorting and trimming for my various projects that need neutrals.
and I didn't get it all done before I was tired.
I'm linking to quilt story fabric tuesday
