Stash report September 25, 2022

I added a couple more charm packs and a new mister to my stash. I really like the misting bottles for the starch. They don't clog and give a more even spray.

Stash report  September 25, 2022

fabric added: 2 yards
fabric added year to date: 97.5 yards

fabric used: 0 yards  I am close to a finish

fabric used year to date: 170 3/4 yards

73.25 yards used more than bought.

I am using a dark blue almost navy for the sky around the moon in my witchy rug called spellbound. I will be working on this for a while.

I sewed 6 days last week, including an open sew day.

  1. The misting bottle looks great, is it better than a regular spray? Pretty new purple fabrics. Enjoy working on your rug, this witch is going to be wonderful.

  2. I smile every time I read the stash report, my one goal is to use and reduce and let very little fabric enter for the past few years. Only buying what is absolutely needed to finish a project. Yesterday I stopped at the local charity shop, on the way to the grocery store after putting in gas. Not only did I come home with a large bag of quilting fabrics, another lady was looking for fabrics to make crafts and clothing. I showed her the bins filled with fabrics, felt and more. She was very happy to find fabrics and supplies. So I came home and knew the fabric would be perfect for scrappy quilts, the mould was broken and it is okay. Knowing another quilter had collected and loved many of these fabrics was what made them special. It was donated and now they will be used in many a project, to go to new homes.

  5. I buy that kind of scroll fabric whenever I can since it is so versatile. My daughter made a quilt with all colors of scroll fabric.

  6. A very fun cat on the witchy rug! I saw many beautiful rugs at a local fall fair last week and it was so difficult not to touch them - the texture is amazing!
