checkered past top

Last week I sewed 3 out of 4 rows together for checkered past. I was at the guild's open sew and had time to concentrate on joining the rows with sashings.

At Friday quilt group, I sewed all 4 rows together for a finish of the top. I have decided to add borders. The pattern calls for another set of blocks around the quilt, but, I don't think I want it that large.

    What a selection of patterns from which to choose over on the site that included "Checkered Past"! I'm on a 2nd postage stamp quilt and thought the CP might make an alternative layout. Thanks for sharing!
