fun stars

It was so exciting to start making the blocks for an older Ufo called hand me down.   I didn't pay any attention to matching fabrics. I wanted to see how different combinations would work. I must confess, I didn't wait until all the flying geese were done... I just couldn't.

Back to flying geese, more still to do.

    These are definitely fun stars. I've never seen any like them, with the hourglass in the center. I love all the plaids together. They will make this a cozy, comfortable quilt.
