midnight flight blocks

I finally attended my Friday group sew and was able to work on midnight flight again. It has been awhile. I needed 25 more blocks to finish the red quadrants. I made 10 or so and almost finished the last 10. This has been a project that has been my portable project and I had stopped being portable for a bit since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am recovering and doing much better. I have two weeks before treatments begin and I want to quilt again. The hardest part has been getting my head back in the game.

  2. I'm sorry about the diagnosis. I hope the treatment regimen is short-term and effective! Meanwhile: Night Flight is another wonderful scrappy QV pattern and yours will be a beauty.

  4. I don't know if I have said this before, but I'm so sorry you are dealing with breast cancer, Maggie. Glad you're recovering from the first step, and I hope the treatments are gentle on you. May you have lots of time and energy for sewing therapy!

  5. It is hard to get back in the groove after dealing with cancer. Hope all the treatments go well and you can still stitch a bit.

  6. Oh Maggie! I am recovering as well from breast cancer earlier this year. I pray your treatment allows you to sew because it sure helped me. These blocks are so pretty! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
