I really liked this navy fabric when I saw it. It is a little different than my other navy/ sapphire fabrics. I use a lot of dark blues for borders and binding. I have been using partial spools of thread in an effort to
empty the drawer. I wanted to restock the neutrals since I use them the most.

I sewed 6 days last week. It was good to finish another quilt, which is number 37 for the year.
I have made a little progress on my Christmas in new England rug hooking project. It is still a slow moving project. I am really trying to add a few wool strips every day. I have moved the rug on the frame and look forward to working on a cute Christmas tree.

Oooh, I like that blue fabric, very pretty. Sometimes you have to stop and restock even when you are working on UFOs. You've made the most of your stitching time this year. Finishing 34 UFOs? Wow and congrats!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue and the quilt. What pattern is it?
ReplyDeleteLove the blur fabric and the quilt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat Split Nine quilt is gorgeous. I really like the blue fabric that you bought. Progress has been made on the rug. Moving the piece on the frame is always satisfying.
