I have been sewing rows for my midnight flight Ufo. I had 1 row done last week from a Friday day with my quilting buddies. Making all the star blocks was my one monthly goal for November, and I have exceeded that to this point. I may still have time to finish the top before the end of the month.
It's that time of year again when our community has the "we care" trees in the mall. Every year, for years, our community has sponsored decorated Christmas trees. The trees are sold at auction, and, the money is donated to We care charity for Christmas charity giving. At this point, mostly only businesses can afford to buy the trees and display them at their businesses. We have visited each year and it is very inspiring for the Christmas spirit.

Pretty quilt, love all the lattice look.
ReplyDeleteMidnight flight is coming together beautifully. The tress are so pretty. Our community used to do something similar, but with wreaths. Those individuals could afford and I have one of those, haven't used it in a while. Maybe I should this year.
