the left side of my sewing machine table is clean :) score! because it usually looks like this side or worse if possible.
But when I am making a block, I am making that block, and can not be bothered to clean up other messes. And these owls really required concentration as they fought back.
But I am declaring it a victory. Take that you devil owls.

Those owls are adorable. They look complicated! I have to keep my sewing area clean since I quilt at my kitchen table! And it's in the middle of everything...one day I may have a dedicated space!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't help my messiness that I can close the door. I am impressed you can keep it in the open
DeleteI get it, when you sew, you sew-nothing else gets in the way, right. I sure do love those owls. Where did you get the pattern?
ReplyDeleteits an elizabeth hartman pattern http://www.ohfransson.bigcartel.com/product/fancy-forest-pdf-quilt-pattern

ReplyDeleteI love the owls, it seems like each one has its own expression! I'm with you on the clean-up detail. Who wants to do that? I'd rather work on a block or two! Wendy at piecefulthoughts@gmail.com

DeleteThose owls are absolutely adorable! I can't wait to see the finished quilt
ReplyDeleteI hope we aren't too old when it is finished
DeleteAw, they are really cute owls. I think I have the same pattern or one similar ... the question is do I need owls? If they turned out as nicely as yours did... maybe. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteowls are supposed to be wise :)
DeleteHa ha, the left side of my sewing desk looks like that too..also, ahem, the right side, the nearby desk, and the cutting table, lol. Your owls are devilishly good looking!
