I have finished my one monthly goal for November. I finished frolic quiltville mystery quilt from 2019. I kept current on the clues until it was time to assemble the blocks. That seems to be my undoing. I take longer to do that, I guess. I really like the colors and pattern of the blocks. This will be my 19th finished quiltville mystery quilt. I have a page here that shows them from the first to the last that I have done. I still have rhododendron to quilt and grassy creek to add borders.
I used a flannel back and an older binding. I did free motion swirls on my longarm for the quilting.

Your quilt is beautiful! I’m impressed that you’ve made 19 of Bonnie’s quilts. I’ve made several, and they’re not fast to make; but they do use up plenty of scraps! - SueR at northwindsquilting.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteFrolic looks great! You've done a great job keeping up on her mysteries. The only one I've made was Double Delight and that was last winter. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! Both the colors and design are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteWow, very pretty! 19? I have yet to tackle one! LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a lovely finished Frolic. Wow 19 finished Bonnie mysteries? That's pretty amazing, especially considering how much she likes small pieces in her blocks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Congratulations on a great finish. So impressive that you've made so many Bonnie Hunter Mysteries! Can't wait to see the others have their finish. So close! Thanks for sharing on my weekly link up Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteMaggie it's just beautiful! I like the coziness of a flannel back, and it really shows off your pretty quilting. Your Quiltville mystery finishes page is so impressive! Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!!! Congrats on finishing 19 BH quilts!!! That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie, congrats on your November finish! Feel free to link up to Free Motion Mavericks. That is an amazing number of quiltville mystery quilts. I'm heading to your page to see them.
ReplyDeleteWow that turned out beautifully. I love the kaleidoscope effect it gives. Your quilt makes me wish I had made that one too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful finish! Do you prewash? I swore off flannel years ago but I recently bought some flannel that I'm wanting to put on the back of a quilt but I do not prewash. I feel like it'll all be fine (it's good quality) but I'm curious. (I also may end up making an entire flannel quilt afterall so I wouldn't worry then.)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your fabulous finish, Maggie!!
