My one monthly goal for January 2025 is to assemble my squared away quilt. I made these blocks in 2018 as part of the rainbow scrap challenge. I thought I would start 2025 fresh with a rainbow scrap quilt. I have the blocks made and I want an on point layout. I will travel this month, and think this would make a great motel project with Florence, my featherweight. Everything I need for the quilt fits in a zip lock bag. I will still use my 5 quilt goal plan for the year. It makes sense to me and appears to work for me. Although, I might be a little less concerned with the time I take on each project. I have randomly chosen 29 ufos that I can pick and choose. Last year I finished 41. I never dreamed I could do that. So, we will see. Life can be challenging at my age.
pink is the color for January |
I am still trying to finish an older ufo from the rainbow scrap challenge called tiny Tuesday. I have the green row done. Most of the blocks were designed by the academic quilter but I have been adding orphan blocks to make it a bit bigger.

I plan on finishing a VERY PINK quilt that is about 90% pieced. Would love to finish that and maybe also get it quilted? I happy to see you're still making progress on Tiny Tuesday. It's a favorite around here.
ReplyDelete41 projects is an amazing number. It is fun to look back at those sampler blocks from years gone by and think about them coming together to make more completed projects. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWow!! 41 is HUGE!!What a great accomplishment!!! Look forward to seeing your progress for 2025!!!
