Blue is the color for February and the rainbow scrap challenge,
I am reexamining my string blocks for blue skies which was originally made for the quilt blue skies from Bonnie Hunter book string fling. I made the string blocks during a string basket cleaning in 2016. I was string piecing anything in the book I might want to make while I was playing with strings. At some point, I decided I would not want to cut and make 2,376 hsts for the quilt. I found another quilt that I could make instead. I am hoping to get a start on that quilt this month. The project is at home, and, will have to wait until I return. I plan to make hsts and arrange them in a star pattern. I will be pleased if I get all the hsts cut and made in February.

Looks like you are finding lots of fun things to stitch on while you are on vacation. You'll have lots to work with once you get home.

ReplyDeleteBlue and yellow, so pretty. String blocks are fun and easy to make. I know I have two sets stitched from RSC a year or two ago, waiting to be put together.
