I have added the first border and I am prepping the rest. It was scarey, but they are all cut, and so far, nothing bad has happened to them. The border fit, and, I have decided to do square in a square corners. I am happy to see the end of this older ufo. I may meet my one monthly goal of a finish for March. Tulips are up and the forsythia is starting to bloom, We've had a lot of wind here lately. The top half of a tall pine tree broke off and landed in 1 piece. I've seen the whole tree fall many times but not just the whole top.

The square in a square border is looking good. I always sigh with relief when a pieced border actually fits without having to go back and fudge on a few seams.

ReplyDeleteWe had some strong wind gusts a few years ago and one of them took off the crown of the maple tree across the street. It was so weird to see a fully leafed out tree without it's center. Your border is delightful.
