stash report December 8, 2024

Another jelly roll has found it's way here. I use a lot of neutrals each year, and I might as well stock up for the new year. We have had bitter cold weather here.

fabric added this week: 3 yards

 fabric added year to date for 2024: 102 yards    

fabric used: 0 -I didn't have any finishes this week, my quilting closet is empty. I tried an open sew yesterday, but I just didn't focus on my ufos in progress very well.

571 yards used more than bought in 2024

I sewed 2 days last week. I went to an open sew for a little while. It was good to see everyone.

I have tried to add a few strips of wool every day, hoping that it will eventually help finish this wonderful rug. The Christmas tree is a fun diversion.

I have chosen simple ways to participate in  light the world with love for this Christmas season. I have many reasons to be grateful this year. I have shared  my love with friends, donated canned goods to a food bank, chatted with a friendly stranger at radiation therapy, played games with my family.  Hope you can find ways to share your heart with others. And thank you all for your wonderful comments and thoughts this year. Quilters are the best.

    Maggie, your hooked Christmas tree is festive and lovely! I love to see the rug coming to colors and life. Pretty neutral jelly roll. It's great to have an empty quilting closet, it leaves place for new projects ;) Thank you for sharing, everything.

    You've had an excellent year on the stash and finishing fronts. You could coast till the end of the year and still outdo most of us. Happy stitching this week.
