stash report March 15, 2026

I wasn't going to worry with a border for my yellow string baby quilt until I returned home. But, I found this cute stripe shirt that I think will work. I paid a dollar for it.

fabric added this week: 0 yards

fabric added year to date for 2026:  10 yards

fabric used this week: o yards

fabric used year to date for  2026  o yards

I have added 10 yards more than I used.

I sewed 3 days last week.

I have decided to work on my older ufo applique project - across the wide missourri- again, as we will be spending quality car time, on vacation

It's time to work on block 9. It looks pretty straight forward. These pieces are going to even out other uneven applique blocks in the quilt.

All I was able to do is trace and iron a new tree to applique.

I am back in the groove for my Christmas in new England rug hooking, too.

Oh fun, a new house. It breaks up the monotony of the background. I counted 8 houses in the rug, and, this will be number 4.

stash report March 8, 2026

I didn't bring any red with me for the rainbow scrap challenge so I found a cotton sheet while thrifting that I could use. I didn't need a whole sheet, but I didn't find anything else in red.

We have moved locations on our vacation. I've packed up all my sewing and quilting supplies for a few weeks. I have not added any new fabricey thing to my supplies, except a recycled sheet.

stash report February 15, 2026

I attended a Florida quilt show, here, where I am staying. It was huge. They had a huge boutique with guild members making donated items for sale. I found my happy place. I could buy little quilt gifties for gifts when I get home. They had brown sandwich bags filled with scraps. I bought a green bag, just in case I have time this month to cut some more for my rsc projects. All the pieces are small and different sizes. Otherwise, I didn't buy anything.
