yellow baby string quilt. is finished. When I decided to change my pattern for Blue skies, I had leftover yellow string blocks. This is the quilt that I made from those blocks. I was in Florida at the time that I was piecing, and didn't have border fabric with me. I found a men's shirt at a thrift store that I could cut for the border. I waited until I was home to quilt it. yellow is my favorite color which is why I was drawn to the pattern blue skies in the beginning.
