peppermint candy finish for April

I found this in quiltmaker magazine and cut it out, in 2018, while I was cleaning up Christmas fabrics. That is all the farther I got, before it landed in the ufo closet. I made the blocks while I was away for the winter this year, with my trusty featherweight. Back home again, I changed the pattern and chose an on- point layout to finish it. It was part of my 5 quilt list and my one monthly goal to finish it in April.

60 x 70 = 14 yards

  1. I like this layout better. You dropped the sashing and IMHO, it was a good move to do. No need for the sashing in this one. It looks great. Congrats! ;^)

  11. Such a pretty quilt! I've been loving those blocks as you've been making them, and it's wonderful to see them all together in this quilt. Great job! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
