I had a chance to lay out my peppermint candy blocks with an on point setting. The pattern called for sashing, but, I couldn't find any that I really liked. I was able to use a big table at the library. I liked the on point setting, and that is what I will do to finish it. I pinned the rows together and I can just join the blocks at home when I get a chance.

Love that setting for those blocks!
ReplyDeleteI like this! With just two colors it is a great look. I have used the long tables at our church for a couple Q-K quilt layouts. It sure helps.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to do your own thing with a set of blocks. Peppermint Candy is going to look amazing.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty blocks and that setting is perfect. I don't think a sashing is needed.
ReplyDeleteI just adore your Peppermint Candy blocks! Setting them on point is a lovely solution to no sashing. It's going to be so pretty! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
