This wall hanging is one of my favorite finds at our guild sale. I know the quilter very well, and was thrilled to add it to my wall art. I thought it was pretty and very well made.

I sewed 1 days last week I just wasn't feeling very well.
With the new year, I am restarting an applique project - across the wide missourri- I started this project again in 2025 primarily for in the car traveling while we were traveling. But, I have continued this after we returned home. I try to do a little every day. I want to finish this by the end of the year.... or next.
I'm starting a new block that looks much easier than the last one. I have everything traced and ironed. I am ready to go. The quilt has 12 block of the month sets. I have 7 completed.
Hope you are feeling better this week and can get back to your appliqué project. Are you taking a break from your rug hooking project? Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteDaily stitching turn into great progress. Happy stitching on block 7.
ReplyDeleteI always thing that the prepping is more time consuming than actually the applique! Very pretty pattern, I hope you keep it up the rest of this year and have a flimsy to show us on New Year's Day 2026. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool wall hanging. Sorry you've not been feeling great, hopefully this week will be much better on that front.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie, what a great find! And I had to go look up the applique project as you piqued my interest. I love Jan's patterns and I will enjoy seeing your blocks. Great stitching ahead!
ReplyDeleteWow, this wall hanging is gorgeous! Love the stained glass bias. The next appliqué block looks fun, and the entire project is growing along nicely! Thank you for sharing and linking up.
ReplyDeleteOoh, you picked up a great piece! A thrill that you know the artist too. I hope it has a label like any good art work should.
