I have the orange 2 inch hsts for a basket quilt I am making. I am using the rainbow scrap challenge to cut and make 70 each month.
Here is my first post about this spiderweb quilt in 2016. I have worked on this quilt throughout orange June. The top is done and the first border is attached. Now, the decision is whether to add another border. I need to wait until the voice in my head really decides, over whether, I just want it finished LOL. This is close enough to continue this quilt on my 5 quilt project, either way.
I have orange windmill finished. I really need to cut more orange scraps into strips for the future. My choices were sparse.
I made more orange 1 1/2 inch strips for ditch lilies. I made a lot of progress on ditch lilies during green and orange months. But, I am calling this ufo done for the year, and giving it a spa vacation for awhile.

Wow, you are an orange powerhouse, Maggie!!! Love seeing all the orange quilt projects!!!
ReplyDeleteSo many fun orange blocks. I like the idea of giving a quilt a spa vacation when it's no longer fun to work on. But then again I guess all my quilts are on spa vacations these days?
ReplyDeleteSpa vacation? Love it. I have lots on spa vacation in project boxes in my studio closet. I'm slowly getting them back to work, but there's always a new squirrel to distract me. Your oranges look great! On to purple & maybe there's something on vacation you can pull out??
ReplyDeleteOrange must be a favorite color because you are making such progress during orange month! Love the variety of blocks. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
