ditch lilies

The rainbow scrap challenge color for May is green. I looked through my older ufos to see which one I would pull out to work on this month. I had gathered oranges and juniper greens together, to make a bonnie hunter pattern called ditch lilies. It is a stand alone pattern from 2022. But, I didn't do anything with it. I decided whatever I get done this month will be enough progress for now.

I started by cutting the green into 2 1/2 inch strips and sub-cutting them into squares.

It's hard to believe that little stack of fabric will become this wonderful quilt someday. And if that is the case, my stash will make 100s of quilts - if I live long enough. haha

  3. Beautiful choices for Ditch Lily. I didn't tackle that one but the pattern is still in my binder for Some Day.

  7. What a stunner this is going to be! I love how you are rotating existing projects to do RSC, rather than making blocks for a new project. Great idea!
