fox top

I've made progress on my fox quilt . This is my one monthly goal for May. I worked on the vertical sashings, adding rows of foxes. The sashing is a vintage gray chambray fabric that I thought was perfect for the shirtings. I used the whole piece of fabric with just scraps left.

It needed a good pressing before I could measure the top and bottom border. It is ready for the longarm. I found a great backing. I hope to quilt it next week.

  1. What a fun quilt. I agree the gray sashing fabric sets the foxes off nicely.

  3. YOur foxes are foxy! I love that they are made from shirtings. Nothing like getting to both finish a top AND use up every bit of a stash fabric.
