I've been spending more of my quilty time organizing, plotting and planning. Why is it that cleaning actually makes bigger messes? Some of my 2026 rainbow scrap challenge projects are on vacation for the forseeable future. And since, I am using black this month, My blog posts are repetitive and, well, black.
I am still making crackers and jam blocks. This is a purchased pattern from qultville. I have found some quick and easy tricks to make these. I will try and share them soon for those who want to make this quilt.
I need 6 more square dance. blocks to make a quilt. I used a layer cake for them, but have used all colors. I plan on visiting my solid fabrics for the extra colors I need. I have not run out of 2 inch squares in my drawer. I might never empty that drawer, that seems to refill at night while I am sleeping.

I've been cutting my Tulip Swirl from 2.5" strips and chunks. Both of those little blocks from BH have been a fun addition to things this year.
ReplyDeleteYour crackers locks are so fun in the black prints! I'll enjoy seeing what you make with them.
ReplyDeleteYou've done so well at keeping up with your current RSC projects and finishing ones from past years. Hope the clean up goes well. It does seem we make a bigger mess before we figure out what to do with all of it.
ReplyDeleteWe will never run out of scraps! Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteYour black fabrics are lovely with these flowers, dots and other pretty patterns. The Crackers blocks are beautiful, and that's great if you've figured out how to make them more easily than by paper piecing them. Thank you for sharing your blocks in progress and linking up.
ReplyDeleteAll those different blocks are quite colorful even with the black fabrics.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blocks! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
