This was my last thrift store find before starting the trip home. I can't imagine where I could use this, but it was so pretty.
fabric added this week: 1 yard
fabric added year to date for 2026: 13 1/2 yards
fabric used this week: o yards
fabric used year to date for 2026 o yards
I have added 13 1/2 yards more than I used.
I sewed 1 day last week. we were on the move - hoping to sleep in our own bed tonight
I have decided to work on my older ufo applique project - across the wide missourri- again, as we will be spending quality car time, on vacation.
It's time to work on block 9. It looks pretty straight forward. These pieces are going to even out other uneven applique blocks in the quilt.
I have another tree finished. This is a big block with 5 trees on it. The first tree is finished.
I am back in the groove for my Christmas in new England rug hooking, too.
The house is done and I made it red.

The windows on the house really come into focus when you add the red. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed you can applique while riding in a car! I have problems with that, too bumpy of a ride. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteThat floral is so pretty. I never know what to do with those either, but it's hard to leave them behind. Hope you make it home safely.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is ever so pretty! I wouldn't have been able to resist it either!
ReplyDeleteLovely floral and colibri fabric, these prints are so joyfull! Cute little red house too, your rug is coming along nicely. Have a safe drive back home. Thank you for sharing and linking up.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, almost!
ReplyDeleteLove the smoke coming out of the chimney of the house.
