I cut 133 - 1 1/2 inch neutral strips for swingin checkerboard. I wish I had actually made a few of the rail fence blocks, but, this is all the pieces cut. I will gladly appreciate the progress and work on it at a later time. Just a reminder, I made a light blue baby quilt top this month

I didn't plan on working on my usual projects for the rainbow scrap challenge. But I decided to clean up the 1 1/2 inch strips from my table and make a few zigzag units with scraps.
I am scrapping the bottom of my monkey wrench blocks. I used leftover scraps here as well.

Good job cutting those strips. The Monkey Wrench blocks are always a good choice for scrappy options.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be very glad to have those building blocks when you start piecing. Scraps moved to blocks is always a good thing, even if it's not the RSC colors.
