light scraps week 4

 I added light orange candy chains, 25 made year to date. I need 40 and 45 nine patches with borders.


It was time to trim two bits blocks to 10 1/2 inches.  I have 42 finished. I am thinking 6 x 7.





Only one sugar grove block.was done. It is taking more time to finish them. I only need 4 more for the quilt, but I need to scrounge for more hsts. 


When I started rolling windmills this year, I had a default of using dark in the center and light on the outside. This month's challenge to use light and pastels, I decided to try light in the center and dark on the outsides. My brain fought me the whole way, but, I like them.

    Those Two Bits blocks are really fun. Congrats on the good progress in your sewing room & getting your brain to look at the windmills differently. Sometimes that's a real challenge!
