As I mentioned earlier this month, I am catching up candy chains, after a recount of what I needed. I made a paler red and a sweet green.
I have made and trimmed 20 two bits blocks. I tried these at open sew, but, I had to take way to many bags of strips. And I made a massive mess. It was embarrassing. I am sewing them here at home. I am used to making a mess here. haha I am trying to use up some "ugly" neutrals and short pieces.

I'm intrigued by those Little Bit blocks and look forward to seeing how they go together. Very cute blocks.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been taming the scrap bins a bit. Those 2 bit blocks are really fun and look to be great scrap busters.
ReplyDeleteYou are like the Energizer Bunny. You just keep cranking out the blocks.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Making a total mess at Open Sew! I get it. It’s too much to carry too so I usually bring something to cut all the pieces for (and it has to fit in one container) or I bring stuff already kitted and ready to sew and I still have stuff spread out-but we all do! Makes it more interesting when you walk around to see what everyone is doing! I love your blocks with the little star in the center.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle when you said you were used to making a mess at home but it was embarrassing to make one at open sew. Haha! Nice job on a variety of blocks.
ReplyDeleteI like the candy chain blocks in your rainbow palette. I've been working with thrifted shirts this week -- you are an inspiration!
