week 2 - March red rainbow scrap challenge

I had a moment to lay out my yellow string blocks, and while they were in rows, I sewed the rows together, before I lost track. Red is the color for March and the rainbow scrap challenge. But, I want to finish these leftover blocks before I return home.

I have the pieces cut for the candy chains blocks.

I decided on the fabrics I would use for the rolling windmill blocks.

I used the new thrifted piece for the square, play blocks. I had enough 2 1/2 square pieces sewn together for the outside border. I just need to cut for the inner border.

  6. The yellow leftovers look almost as great as the original! And you've done the "not so fun" work of choosing & cutting, so now you're ready for assembly. Yay!
