For the rainbow scrap challenge I made a soul searching quilt as rsc in 2018. I even taught a workshop for my quild for this quilt. These blocks, I found at an estate sale for a 97 year old guild member. She was a dear member. She had all the blocks pieced, but had not assembled the quilt. I brought it with me and want to add this to my projects since it is the only green I have with me.
Last month, I cut each rsc project and finished it before cutting another. Now, that I am comfortable with the process, I decided to live it up and cut them all at once, using green, of course- Square dance, square play, rolling windmill, and candy
Now the fun begins
The square, play block needs frames of 2 1/2 inch squares. I enjoy sewing these randomly in between the other block projects. And, it is like rediscovering loved fabrics..... still they overflowI had been working on on an alternative blue skies string quilt. I managed to finish the center top. I like it so far. I bought 2 shirts at a thrift store that I will cut to make the borders.
