January week 5 flying home top

This is a bonus week 5 for the rainbow scrap challenge. I have finished the top for flying home. I really like my flamingo border. I think it looks better with 2 additional rows. I will have to wait until I get home to quilt it.

58 x 74

The nova star alternative to blue skies is growing as I add rows: that I triple check for placement. I will have most of the yellow blocks left, probably enough for a small quilt.

    Yes, it was a great choice to go with the flamingo fabric for a border. Gives Flying Home a lovely, whimsical finish.

    Flying home turned out beautifully, that border makes a very nice frame for the blocks. Happy stitching this week.

    Very nice RSC finish! The flamingo fabric perfectly picked up all of the colors in the center.
