This is a bonus week 5 for the rainbow scrap challenge. I have finished the top for flying home. I really like my flamingo border. I think it looks better with 2 additional rows. I will have to wait until I get home to quilt it.

The nova star alternative to blue skies is growing as I add rows: that I triple check for placement. I will have most of the yellow blocks left, probably enough for a small quilt.

ReplyDeleteYes, it was a great choice to go with the flamingo fabric for a border. Gives Flying Home a lovely, whimsical finish.
