week 4 -rainbow scrap challenge November

My red and brown pfeffernuesse quilt. for the rainbow scrap challenge is a top. I started the string blocks in 2016. It deserved to be finished. I was great at starting projects many years ago. I guess, I was making retirement projects. Pulling out an older ufo, is so much fun, if, I don't go down the " what was I thinking" rabbit hole.

I was diligent about sewing sugar grove blocks this past week. I now have 50 of the 72 I need for the quilt. Making them is part of my muscle memory by now.

I ironed the last of the zig zag quilt blocks. I used up many 1 1/12 inch strips, but, it still doesn't look like a whole quilt in the drawer.

  3. Pfeffernuse is looking great, Maggie! It's wonderful that you pulled out the old UFO and moved it right along. It will be a finish before you know it!

  5. You've done really well at keeping these projects moving. I so get the "what was I thinking" when looking at older UFOs.
