stash report November 2, 2025

I am very slowly unpacking the bag of fabric that I bought at a quilt show rummage show. Everything was measured by the pound.

I was excited to find this pack of 30s fabrics. There were 6-10 inch squares. I have a fondness for fabric from the 30s( reproductions) I think it brightens anyone's mood, even now,  just like during the depression. And I respect are ancestor quilters for being concerned for their message during such a difficult time- look forward with hope.

stash report November 2, 2025 - nothing changed really

fabric added this week: 0 yards

fabric added year to date for 2025: 68 yards

fabric used this week: 0 yards

fabric used year to date for 2025: 265 1/2 yards

197 3/4 yards used more than bought in 2025

I sewed 5 days last week - made it to open sew and added a quilt to the frame

Now, that I am finished with my swapping on the friendship rug, I am taking a little break to work on my Christmas rug forever project.

Not much hooking, but some planning, cutting more strips, and setting goals again.

this week - all cleaned up

  2. I adore your Christmas rug. It’s nice to see you working on it again. I know you don’t like to hook fences, but it looks great.

  3. Your rummage sale purchase is a great (bargain!) stash addition.

  4. Great find on the 30s prints. I bought some at an estate sale a few years ago. They can be hard to find. Other than Lori Holt, I don't see many of those fabrics.
