I found the top for chunky churn dash in with my rug hooking earlier this year. I thought it was lost forever. I have no idea why it went on vacation with the rug hooking wool, but, I am glad I found it. Chunky churn dash is a free Bonnie Hunter pattern, and I really like the way it looks when finished.
I started the scrappy blocks in 2013. Apparently, I had made the top and then, it was lost. I made it a priority for my 5 quilt project. I added borders and, now, it is finished.

Congratulations on finishing Chunky Churn Dash. It's beautiful. You made me chuckle with the vacation comment. Enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely find! How quilts get lost I have no idea, but it's happened to me too. Congrats on a great finish. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2025/10/08/wednesday-wait-loss-453
