stash report September 28, 2025

Hubby and I went to a quilt show and a festival all at the same time. We didn't realize that the fall festival was also starting in the same town. I used to sell my country jumpers at this festival for years, and really enjoyed it. It was great reminiscing.

My husband really liked this piece of steampunk fabric and wanted a shirt made from it. Luckily, I don't think it is big enough LOL


I bought these odd shaped scraps by the pound. I don't usually add scraps to my totals.

I sewed 4 days last week and have a quilt on the frame

I have created a new friendship swap for my rug hooking group. It is a swap rug. Everyone wanted houses this time. It has two rows of houses, and trees, too. We each do a house on our own rug, and then, we pass it around for everyone to hook a house on our rug, When we are done, we will have a rug with our friends hooking on it. I have made 2 or 3 others and they are such a treasure. We have a goal to trade every two weeks. 


This is my rug to do for Betty. I am working on the last two I need to do.

    Your husband sounds fun! Such a pity there wasn't enough fabric for a shirt. =) The friendship swap rug hooking group is wonderful. Love those hooked houses.

    That steam punk fabric is fun. If not big enough for a shirt can you work it into a nice recliner quilt? Enjoy your stitching time this week.
