This is the last week of the purple scraps for the rainbow scrap challenge. I found 70 purple 2 inch hsts for bonnie Hunter basket quilt. This is month 7 for the hsts, and, I haven't had to cut or sew 90% of them. I have had them in drawers since I have started quilting again. Most of them are bonus triangles, or leftovers from projects. I have had to trim and press. At this point I have at least 490 of the ready to go. I need 700, just a few more to go.
you have a nice assortment of purples & congrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteVery cute little purple blocks! The Monkey Wrench is especially cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure trove of HST you have amassed. You are 70% there to having what you need.
ReplyDeleteGreat work on the HSTs. I just did a bunch for my L&E project & it's a bit tedious to do, but nice when they are done & ready for the project. Your Sugar Grove is still coming along-love the purple center.
ReplyDeleteYou've done well at finding homes for your purple scraps.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to find all those HSTs and be able to use them! It sounds like a lot more to go but actually in the grand scheme not really. Sugar Grove looks great and I like the purple running through the center. Have a great weekend!
