I have restarted a project that I was working on last December. I need strips with color for stringing around a star block. Instead of digging through my bags, I decided to grab odd bags of scraps laying around and cut and use whatever is in the bags. Hopefully to use them up until they are gone.

fabric used year to date for 2026 o yards
I have added 16 1/2 yards more than I used.
I sewed 4 days last week. I had an open sew this week.
I have decided to work on my older ufo applique project - across the wide missourri- again, as we will be spending quality car time, on vacation.
It's time to work on block 9. It looks pretty straight forward. These pieces are going to even out other uneven applique blocks in the quilt.
I have another tree finished.
I am back in the groove for my Christmas in new England rug hooking, too.

I love seeing your rug hooking each week. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the scrap project. It seems like no matter how many scraps you use, you never use all of them!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to see the stars you'll make with these fabric scraps, it's going to be fun to use only what's inside these bags! The appliqué and the rug are coming along nicely. Thank you for sharing your WIP and linking up.
ReplyDeleteLimiting yourself to the contents of that scrap bag will have an exponentially creative result!
