I have the top for Hazel's soul searching quilt as far as I plan on going. I think I will donate it to my guild for someone else to finish.

I made a few more rolling windmills. with any 5 inch squares that had even a whisper of green.
For my square dance quilt, I have added green. I add the solid color by cutting a 10 inch square from a layer cake diagonally both ways. That way I can trim to the right size. I think I will test a 9 1/2 inch scrap piece and see if it will work.
Green is a favorite of mine, and, also, I am gifted scraps in that color a lot. But, I am looking forward to a new color for the rainbow scrap challenge

Soul Searching turned out beautifully! You've got some fun greens in your scrappy blocks this week. I wonder what March's color will be.
ReplyDeleteThe soul searching top looks great, even without any borders. Love those windmill blocks of course.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of those little blocks for a zig zag. Maybe they are just L&E's for the next couple years?? LOL
ReplyDeleteI love the Soul Searching pattern and have made one for our bed, it is one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteThats a great one
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had such fun with your favorite color! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
