holloween kit

I was feeling halloweenish, and remembered a halloween kit, that I found at a garage sale. I had added it to my 5 quilt projects for 2025. I am not near it on the list, but, I thought it might be fun, at this time of the year, to at least look at it. It was a complete kit with a panel, fabric, and a pattern. I did not like the pattern. I started looking at ideas online. I found a couple I liked much better. For now, I am tabling the idea. I have made notes, and pictures, so that I can start again with a better idea for how to proceed. I do like the panel, and it offered me smile. It would be wise to start a bit earlier than October another year.

  1. I can see why you couldn't resist picking up this panel at a yard sale. So cute. I love the pop of royal blue in the project. Unexpected in a Halloween quilt, but perfect here.

  5. It sounds as though you have a solid plan for the future of the quilt. Thanks for sharing in Sew & Tell.

  6. Coming up with a plan is the biggest battle when trying to finish up kits.
